1.First to perform Laparoscopic Sterilization in India since year 1971

2.First to start Laparoscopic Sterilization camps in India and therefore in Karnataka. Performed more than 15,000 Lap-sterilisation, 1980 to 1986

3.First to modify the technique of Laparoscopic Sterilization to make the procedure easy and do it with local anaesthesia

4.First to device a table to do Lap-sterilisation in camps

5.First Indian Representative of the American Association of Gynaecological Laparoscopists (AAGL) of Los Angeles California (1972 to 1976)
